What happens
In 1779 the Military situation was severe, but the economic situation was even worse. The Congress was not yet an efficient vehicle of governance and members of it let the printing press run freely. The money was needed, but the effect was a growing inflation. The usage of the printing press was a collective decision the body of men responsible could have decided differently.
