What happens
Once under the ancient Zoroastrian reign of the Sasanian Empire, the region of Persia fell to the Muslim onslaught led by the Rashidun Caliphate in the early 7th century. Ever since our people have abandoned the teachings of Zoroaster in favor of the faith of their conquerors.\n\nAlthough there are some pockets in the mountains inhabited by those who still follow the true ways, the majority of our nation is devout Muslim and opposes our ruler's decision to revive this old faith.
