What happens
With the war dragging on, the War Council has suggested an extra troop levy to call up recruits and manpower from the provinces. Since troop levies would be damaging to our authority, some are instead suggesting that we ease the present burdens suffered by our peasantry. A third option would be to leave things as they are.
Player choices
When this event fires, Calling up Recruits presents these options:
- Call up extra troops.
- Help the suffering peasants.
- Nothing needs to be done.
