What happens
The traders that we welcomed have only increased their presence in our country more and more. As they have, they have brought with them Catholic missionaries, backed by their home states, who have promptly begun to spread Christianity and convert the local populace en masse. If they are not stopped, these Jesuits, Franciscans and Dominicans could pose a significant threat to Shintoism.
