Town Hall of Lübeck

Due to the geographically favorable position of Lübeck, the great majority of the annual meetings of the merchant members of the Hanseatic League take place in the city. As such, we are the president of the League, with the capacity of leading and deciding the course the whole League should take. The new Town Hall erected in this year will serve as the central assembly and deliberation chamber for matters of the League. Its impressive architecture and magnificence will be a testament to both the importance of our city and the affluence of wealth of the Hanseatic League as a whole.
