What happens
The Croatian and Hungarian nobility have come together in an impromptu diet, during which it was agreed upon that the two kingdoms, having been governed together under a personal union for decades, should henceforth be considered as one so that they can present a united front towards their our overlords. The kingdom of Croatia has therefore been annexed by that of Hungary.
