Vicious Words?

The local aristocracy in our nation seems to have been growing quite powerful over the last few years. While we retain nominal control over the area, much of the real power lies with the local landowners, who have been known to grow their domains at the expense of monastery land. This practice, along with other excesses, may well be used against them but in order to achieve the full effect we would probably need to embellish the truth a little. There are those who would be willing to do just that for us in exchange for nice positions in our administration afterwards.
