What happens
A white elephant has been captured in the hinterlands of the other nation and their ruler has wisely interpreted this as a sign of the productive alliance of our two peoples. This is the greatest gift a ruler could possibly bestow upon us and will likely be regarded very well by our population. It will, however, also be quite costly to take care of this rare beast even though we could hardly refuse to do so.
