What happens
A number of economic investors have approached our ruler asking for the right to develop one of the areas under our control. They would pay a lump sum for the right to extract revenue from our lands and it would then be up to them to collect the money in our stead. The investors are quick to point out that it is in their interest to invest in the local infrastructure to increase the chances that they will make more than the sum they have paid for the right to our area.
