What happens
The rich Pochteca trade guilds are essential to the trade network of Mesoamerica and their members are generally free to cross our borders as they please. This unreserved welcoming has, however, evidently been exploited by our rivals as a number of Pochteca traders now stand accused of espionage on their behalf.
