What happens
The second-to-last ritual is to re-visit the Masjid al-Haram mosque in Mecca to walk around the Kaaba once more. It is called Tawaf al-Ifadah, which symbolizes being in a hurry to respond to God and show love for Him. Before leaving Mecca, pilgrims perform a farewell tawaf called the Tawaf al-Wida. Some pilgrims, including the ruler of, travel to the city of Medina and the Al-Masjid al-Nabawi, which contains the Prophet Muhammad's tomb.
