What happens
our ruler's most favored Consort, the Haseki Sultan, and their mother, the Valide Sultan, are women of great influence and ambition. Both also control a faction of their own in the Imperial Harem and while they both claim to have the best interests of our ruler at heart a clash of wills have always been inevitable. our consort has been maneuvering to have one of her sons take our heir's place as heir, but the Valide Sultan will have none of it. Both women have invested considerable prestige in the conflict by now.
