What happens
The city of our capital is under Ottoman control while the Mamluk government is about to fall apart. This wretched Sultanate is nothing but an insulting memory of what the Abbasid Caliphate once was before it splintered into its many successor states. It has become very obvious that the sultanate can no longer maintain itself. The Mamluk administrators, who are imprisoned in our capital, reached out to our ruler, suggesting to immediately end this war by surrendering all of the Sultanate to our our ruler in return for their continued servitude in the Egyptian administration.
