What happens
The privileges that we granted to the Prussian Confederation have left the Teutonic Knights with almost no ability to govern the state and few avenues to restore their Order. True power now lies with the former members of the Confederation, who rule as oligarchs over practically independent cities. Faced with the practical impossibility of restoring Teutonic rule, the our ruler has opted to resign from their post and formally end the institution of the Teutonic State in Prussia.
