What happens
Explorer Christopher Columbus made two attempts to convince the King of Portugal, their ruler, to finance an expedition to try and find a western route to the Orient. After being rejected the second time, Columbus turned his efforts towards the our Crown. Backed up by Italian investors, Columbus hopes to convince King our ruler to agree to the expedition.
