The Great Mosque of Djenné

The mosque of our nation, once the palace of Sultan Kunburu, has seen a lot of collateral damage during the siege and as such it needed a renovation. Due to the efforts of the our workers it was possible to restore the mosque to its former glory except for one detail: the original design of the mosque incorporated many expensive decorations which originated from the times of the building when it was a palace, but these decorations had been destroyed during the war.\nThe the clergy argue that a restoration of this decoration is necessary to show our devotion to Allah. However, the stress out that the churches and temples of other religions do not get the same treatment of decorations and as such the Great Mosque shall be treated as equal.
