Having conceded to what feels like countless compromises with the Sejm, our ruler can take no more and has announced their abdication. With no candidate to the throne willing to inherit the dismal state of the our monarchy, complete power now resides in the Sejm. our nation has sometimes been referred to as a Republic due to the elective monarchy, but from today there will truly be a Most Serene Republic of our nation.
