The King of Kongo Converts!

Today, our great Manikongo, flanked by a Portuguese priest, declared himself born anew as a Christian. Rejecting the faith of his ancestors, which he called idolatrous, our ruler is calling for a total adoption of Catholic faith, with a permanent diocese bishop, the destruction of the idols of the old gods, and the end of our traditional way of life. Already infuriated Kongolese elders are calling for the King's head and a restoration of the old order. Either way, our country is in for a period of great unrest.
