What happens
The the other nation of the other nation has big ambitions: they want to unite the Hausa states and end the city state rivalries. Due to their size, they lack the manpower to achieve this goal though. An ambassador from the other nation reached our court recently, requesting for military aid so they can pursue their ambition. Of course it is laughable that they ever achieve it, but it might be worth investing into the other nation just for the rare case that they become a regional power anyway...
