What happens
Since 1381, East Frisia’s independence has been questionable at best. Ocko II, the last official Count of East Frisia, loaned his title to Count William V of Holland. When the traitorous Ocko II was forcibly removed from power by our peasant militia in the Battle of the Wild Fields, the status of our ruler as Count of East Frisia went unrecognised by the Empire.\n\nour ruler, our ruler of our nation, insists that our ruler is little more than a peasant leading a revolt against their liege and has no right to claim sovereignty over East Frisia. Seeking approval from the Emperor could help to strengthen our claim and keep our nation at bay.
