What happens
The Cantor and teacher at the Zum Grauen Kloster Gymnasium in Berlin, Johann Crüger, has come to reach quite some renown as a composer of concerts and an extensive writer on Musical Education. Crüger has also spent years putting together a great book of over 240 hymns known as the Praxis Pietatis Melica or the Practice of Piety. The intention is for new hymns to be added for the benefit of the many faithful across the German lands. The book has already gained widespread popularity among the faithful Protestants in Germany and its popularity continues to grow.
