The Janissaries are elite corps only loyal to the Sultan himself. Their ranks are made up through the devshirme system of child levy and go through a strict military training. As such, the Janissaries are the most disciplined forces of the empire.\nAs time goes on the influence of the Janissaries grew to a point where the Janissaries are a class of their own.
