In-Depth Description

The tag command in Europa Universalis IV is a console command that allows players to switch or "tag" to another country. When a player enters the command followed by a country tag into the console, they will immediately begin playing as that country.

The country tag is a three-letter code that represents each country in the game. Every existing country has a unique tag, which can be found on the game's official wiki or in the game files. For example, if you wanted to switch to playing as France, you would enter tag FRA into the console.

The command is extremely useful for multiple purposes. It allows you to assume the control of any nation at any given time, instantly transforming the playthrough and opening up new possibilities. You can manage different nations, shift strategy, or even challenge yourself to handle dire situations.
