How do you use the savegame command in EU4?
Open the console with the grave (`) key while in-game, type savegame, then press Enter. The console can't be opened in Ironman games.
What does the savegame command do?

Does the savegame command require any DLC?
No. savegame is part of the base game and works without any DLC.
Can you use savegame in Ironman mode?
No. The console is disabled in Ironman games, so savegame can't be entered. Because achievements are only earned in Ironman, console commands like savegame can't be used to unlock them.
