The piety command in Europa Universalis IV increases the piety of your current country or character.
This command is specifically relevant to nations or characters of Muslim religions.
By default, the command adds +10 to your piety level, but you can enter a different amount to add that specific number to your piety.
Piety impacts several factors in-game like morale of armies, technology cost, and more, making it an important aspect of gameplay for Muslim nations.
In EU4, cheats are executed from the command console, a text box that you type commands into.
To open the command console press the ~(tilde) key, which is typically located under ESC (escape).
