Quick Overview

The integrate command in Europa Universalis IV is used to instantly annex another nation into the player's own nation.

The places owned by the specified nation, indicated by the tag, are instantly integrated into the player's country and are recognized as core territory of the player's country.

This means they are considered an integral part of the player's nation-state and not just an occupied or controlled territory.

In-Depth Description

The integrate command in Europa Universalis IV is highly useful when playing a nation that might want to bring another state into the fold.

In a nutshell, the command allows a player to incorporate another country into their nation administratively, essentially merging the two into one.

The way it works is you need to specify the country tag of the nation you want to integrate into yours. Country tags are three-letter codes designated for every country in the game (like ENG for England, FRA for France, and so on). So if you want to integrate Scotland into England, for instance, you'd use the console command integrate SCO ENG.

Integrating a country serves several purposes.

It provides you with cores on all their provinces, meaning you won't suffer from overextension or other penalties.

Additionally, it could be a vital tool to bring a rebellious vassal in line, or to untangle the complex webs of Europe's politics, especially if you've hit a diplomatic relations limit and can't afford to maintain a subject nation. It's also a faster way to expand than through warfare.

It's important to note though that integrating too many nations too fast can lead to points deductions in administrative technology, since integration costs diplomatic points. So, you need to use this command wisely and make sure your diplomatic point reserve is steady.
