Quick Overview

The harmonization command in Europa Universalis IV is used to set a particular country's progress in Harmonization.

This command is only relevant if the country follows the Confucian religion.

The Confucian faith has a unique mechanic named Harmonization which allows it to coexist peacefully with other faiths.

The level of the Harmonization progress affects the religious unity of a country and tolerance towards other faiths.

The Harmonization progress is measured in percentage and can be increased or decreased using this console command.

In-Depth Description

The harmonization command in EU4 is related to the Confucian religion mechanic. It allows you to change your country's progress in harmonizing with a particular non-Confucian religion.

In the game, Confucian countries have the unique ability to harmonize with other religions. This is a process that takes time and has its own progress level. Normally, you would increase this progress by investing monarch points over time.

Using the harmonization command, you can immediately set this harmonization progress to any desired level. The command format should be harmonization [Amount], where Amount is the number you want to set your harmonization progress to.

As an example, if you type harmonization 100, your harmonization progress will be set to 100%.

This command can be particularly useful in situations where you want to speed up your country's religious harmonization process. This can help reduce religious unrest, improve relations with non-Confucian countries, and reap the benefits of harmonization.

How to Open the Command Console

In EU4, cheats are executed from the command console, a text box that you type commands into.

If your keyboard does not have that key, or pressing ~ does not work, try the following keys:
