Quick Overview

The favors command in Europa Universalis IV is used to add favors to the targeted country. Favors are a measure of how much a country owes another country in diplomatic terms.

They can be gained over time based on an ally's relative strength and used to call an ally into war, change their agendas, or manipulate their policies.

This command allows you to manually increase the favor that the targeted country owes you, which can be very advantageous in diplomacy.

In-Depth Description

The favors command in Europa Universalis IV is used to add a specific amount of favors with a targeted country. In EU4, favors are shared between countries that are allies and represent the willingness of a country to aid another in war.

In the diplomacy system, favors are accrued over time and can be used to call your allies into wars, increase their trust in you, or make them more likely to agree to your diplomatic proposals.

Overall, it's a crucial part of managing your relationships with other countries and ensuring that they will aid you when you need it.

To use this command, you will need to enter the command favors [country tag] [number of favors] without brackets in the console. The country tag is a unique three-letter code for each country.

For example, if you want to add 10 favors with France, you would enter favors FRA 10.

You should use this command when you want to ensure that a specific ally will support you in a war or when you want to improve diplomatic relations with that country without waiting for favors to accrue naturally over time.
