Quick Overview

The fast_diplo command in Europa Universalis IV removes any restrictions related to time on diplomats.

Usually, sending diplomats to accomplish tasks takes a certain amount of time in the game.

However, with this command activated, the in-game time it takes for diplomats to reach their destination and commence their designated tasks is ignored, allowing for instantaneous diplomatic actions.

In-Depth Description

The fast_diplo command in Europa Universalis IV is used to speed up diplomatic actions.

Normally, when you send a diplomat to carry out actions such as fabricating claims, improving relations, or forging alliances, it takes a certain amount of time.

Sometimes, these actions can not be immediately performed due to the travel time of the diplomat.

The fast_diplo command is used to completely remove the time required for a diplomat to reach a destination. This means that any diplomatic action can be executed instantly, disregarding any date checks for enroute diplomats. This allows for much faster negotiations and actions in the game.

This command could be helpful in a number of situations, especially when swift diplomatic decisions are needed. For instance, when your country is in danger of a hostile takeover, and you need to secure alliances quickly. Another scenario where the fast_diplo command could come in handy is when you're trying to claim several areas concurrently, and you need your diplomat to fabricate claims speedily.
