Quick Overview

The church_power command in Europa Universalis IV refers to granting additional church power points to the player’s current character, specifically if their religion is Protestant, Anglican, Hussite, or Jewish.

The player can use these points to buy various religious benefits within the game. The specific amount of church power you wish to add must be specified after the command.

In-Depth Description

The church_power command in Europa Universalis IV is utilized to increase your nation's church power if your country's religion is Protestant, Anglican, Hussite, or Jewish.

The command usually requires an argument specifying the desired amount.

For example, typing church_power 50 will add 50 church power to the player's nation.

The church power functions as a type of resource for countries of those aforementioned religions, each with their own specific benefits. For example, for Protestant nations, church power can be used to purchase church aspects.

These aspects provide various bonuses to your nation, such as increased tax income, improved soldier morale, or enhanced trade efficiency. Similarly,

Anglican nations can spend their church power on various decisions within their religion that can bolster their nation's economy or stability.

The Hussite religion can choose tenets based on accumulated church power that can give different bonuses, while Jewish religion uses church power to maintain relations with their Jewish diaspora or other aspects.

It can be particularly helpful if you wish to quickly acquire the benefits provided by these aspects or decisions, or if a change in conditions or strategy requires a swift shift in national religious characteristics.
