Quick Overview

The authority command in Europa Universalis IV is used to increase the authority of a country that follows the Inti religion.

The amount you want to add is entered after the command.

The Inti religion's authority is a special mechanic in the game that reflects the centralization of the state. Increasing authority can lead to a variety of benefits such as reduced unrest.

In-Depth Description

The authority command in Europa Universalis IV allows you to adjust the religious authority of the country you are currently playing, but it only applies if your country follows the Inti religion.

When you input this command, you follow it with the number of authority points you wish to add.

For context, in EU4, the Inti religion, practiced mainly in the Andean region, has a religious mechanic called “Authority.”

Authority can range from 0 to 100, and you can gain it through various in-game actions, like successful wars or fulfilled missions.

Accumulating authority is essential in Inti religion as it allows the player to pass religious reforms that provide unique bonuses to the country, like additional manpower recovery speed or increased tax income.

You should use this command when you're trying to pass the reforms, but you don't have enough authority. Note that passing reforms have additional requirements like stability and absence of revolts in provinces, which this command doesn't affect.

Here is an example of how you can use it:

authority 50

This command would add 50 to your country's authority, assuming your country follows the Inti religion.
